Our professional chimney sweeps will provide a more accurate estimate of the time needed to clean your chimney during the inspection process.
It is recommended to have your chimney cleaned at least once a year, especially if you use your fireplace frequently. Regular cleaning helps prevent chimney fires and maintains proper ventilation. You also want to inspect the heating appliance flue to make sure it is ventilating properly
You do not necessarily need to be present during the chimney cleaning, but we recommend that someone is available to provide access to your home and to answer any questions that the chimney sweep may have. If you are unable to be present during the cleaning, we can arrange for a time that is convenient for you to access your home. Our goal is to ensure that your chimney is cleaned and maintained safely and efficiently, with as little disruption to your schedule as possible.
You will receive a text and email notification when our technicians are on their way to your home. Before they arrive, we ask to clear any items and furniture around the fireplace or heating appliances that the technician will be working on. Remove any items and pictures from the mantel above the fireplace. We love animals, but we ask that you put any animals away during your appointment. The technicians will lay tarps down to the fireplace and cover any furniture with plastics. We use a hepa filter vacuum that sucks up any dust so no need to worry about dust! We make sure we leave your home better than when we found it!
